Policies for Massage
This is a list of policies and procedures for receiving professional massage at Elements of Wellness. This list will tell you (the client) what to expect when you come in for your appointment.

Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes early for you first session so you have time to fill out a client intake form.

When you come inside please have a seat in the waiting area and someone will be with you shortly. Your massage therapist may be finishing up with a client and will find you as soon and he or she is done. Please help yourself to the restroom or water.

please refrain from using your cell phone and or any electronic devices in our waiting room.

It is required that all rescheduled and canceled appointments are made 24 hours before your appointment time. There is a 50% fee for all late cancelations or schedule changes.

Please remove jewelry and makeup before beginning the massage treatment.

Massage appointment will begin on time and end on time unless discussed by both Client and Therapist. If the Client is late to the appointment the time will be docked from allotted appointment and still end on the scheduled time.

This and all other massage treatments offered at Elements of Wellness are strictly for therapeutic purposes only and any inappropriate gestures or verbal remarks will result in the termination of the session immediately.

Payment is due at time of massage treatment and must be made in cash or check payments. (Please make checks out to Elements of Wellness) There is a $25.00 return check fee.

Please note Elements of Wellness has a strict non-smoking, alcohol and drug free policy. Any client arriving for their massage under the influence of drugs and or alcohol will be denied services and payment for the appointment is due in full. It is also not recommended to consume drugs or alcohol after receiving a massage.

Please keep good hygiene. (Showering same day as appointment)

Your massage will be held in a safe and sanitary private massage room. All table linens are one-time use items and are stored and laundered according to state laws.

Inside your massage room there is space for your clothing and personal belongings. Your massage therapist will leave the room while you undress and get into the massage table and again at the end of your session so that you may redress. A top sheet will cover clients at all times throughout their massage. Blankets are available for warmth upon request.

Communication throughout your massage may be required. Your massage therapist should check in with you about pressure and other things relevant to your comfort and safety. At any time if you feel your wellbeing is being compromised please let your massage therapist know immediately.

Excessive talking and noise should be kept to a minimum to make sure all clients have a quiet and relaxing experience. Please turn off all cell phones and digital devices while in your massage session.

All of your personal information is reviewed and stored with the utmost confidentiality. Elements of Wellness will never sell or trade your personal information for any reason.
