Ortho-Bionomy Phase IV: Extremities
This foundation class covers the history, philosophy
and concepts of Ortho-Bionomy, and provides an
overview of the basic release techniques for each
major joint in the body. Movements and positions of
comfort are demonstrated; these facilitate the release
of muscular tension and overall stress by stimulating
the inherent, self-corrective reflexes of the body,
which help the body create structural alignment and
balance from within. Areas of the body covered will
include the shoulder, elbows, wrists, hands, hips,
knees, ankles and feet. Ortho-Bionomy is an effective
bodywork with a gentle, non-invasive approach for
releasing pain and tension without causing pain. Your
clients will benefit, and so will you. Gentler
releases translate to less wear and tear on your body,
including your hands.
